LiveFonty is a browser extension that lets you preview Google Fonts on the webpage you're currently viewing. This policy covers both the extension and the LiveFonty marketing website.
Chrome extension
The LiveFonty extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or webpage content. It does not use analytics, tracking, or any third-party data services inside the extension.
Website analytics
The LiveFonty website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-2CWGCYDX28) to measure traffic and key actions such as page views
and download-button clicks. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept the
cookie banner. You can reject analytics and still use the site. Google may process
data according to
Google's privacy policy.
How the extension works
When you select a font in the extension's popup, LiveFonty temporarily applies that font to the page you're currently viewing by loading the font's stylesheet directly from Google Fonts and adjusting that page's styling in your browser. This happens entirely on your device — nothing is sent to us.
Permissions
LiveFonty requests the activeTab and scripting
permissions solely to apply your selected font to the tab you're actively
viewing, only when you interact with the extension. It does not run in the
background and cannot access any other tabs.
Third-party services
Font stylesheets and font files are loaded directly from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). The website also loads Google Analytics when you accept cookies. Both are subject to Google's privacy policy.
